The fact that belly fat is easier to burn and hip and thigh fat is more difficult to burn seems to go against the theory that women are the better burners. Since men have more fat on their bellies I would think they would be the better burners. Female hormones must play a large role in our overall ability to burn fat better.
So according to recent studies, women are the better fat burners.
Fat is not all bad. You use it to keep warm, for fuel and for padding against trauma. Too much is a problem no matter what your gender is.
There are a host of companies promising to get rid of your excess fat with pills and potions. The best way to control the amount of fat you are carrying is with exercise and healthy eating.
