Demand and supply elasticity

Elasticity of supply, as a response to changes in price, is related to demant. Economists define “demand” as a consumer’s desire or want, together with his willingness to pay for what he want. We can say that demand is indicated by our willingness to offer money for particular goods or services. Money has no value in itself, but serves as a means of exchange between commodities which do have a value to us.
People very seldom have everything they want. Usually we have to decide carefully how we spend our income. When we exercise our choice, we do so according to our personal scale of preferences. In this scale of preferences essential commodities come firs (food,chothing, shelter, medical expenses etc.), then the kind of luxuries which help us to be comfortable (telephone, special furniture, insurance etc.), they may all seem importent, but their true importance can be meansured by deciding which we are prepared to live without. Our decisions indicate our scale of preferences and therefore our priorities.
Elasticity of demand is a measure of the change in the quantity of a good , in response demand. The change in demand results from a change in price. Demand is inelastic when a good is regarded as a basic necessity, but particularlyelastic for non-essential commodities. Accordingly, we buy basic necessities even if the prices rise steeply, but we buy other things only when they are relatively cheap.

TELAGA WARNA (story of indonesia)

Long long ago there was a kingdom in west java. The kingdomwas ruled by a king . people called their king his majesty prabu. Prabu was a king . no wonder if that country was prosperous. There’s no hunger in kingdom.
It was a very happy condition. But it was a pity that prabu and his queen hadn’tgot any children. It made the royal couple very sad . some oldmen and womwn who was trusted by prabu sugessted the king to adopt a child. But prabu and the queen didn’t agree. “no, thank you. But for usour own daughter or son is better than adopted a child.”
The queen was very sad . she often cried. That was why prabu decided to go. He went to the jungle. There he prayed to god. Every day he begged for child . his drean come true . a few months later , the queen got pregnant . all people in the kingdomfelt happy. They sent many presents to the palace to express their happiness.
Nine months later a princess was born. People sent their present again as a to little princes. This baby grew as beatiful teenager then.
Prabu and queen loved their daugther so much. They gave whatever she wanted. It made princess a very spoiled girl. When her wish couldn’t be realized, she became very angry. She even said bad things often . a true princess wouldn’t do that . eventhough the princess behaved badly, her parent loved her , so did the people inthe kingdom.
Day by day , the prince grew more beutiful. No girls coulnn’t compare to her . in few day princess would be 17 years old. So, people of thet kindom went to palace . they brought many present for her. Their presents gift were very beutiful. Prabu collected the presents. There were many present . then prabu stored them in a building. Sometimes he could take them to give to his people.
Prabu only took some jewels and gold. Then she brought them to the goldsmith. “please make a beutiful necklace fo my daughter,” said prabu. “myoleasure, your majesty,” the goldsmith replied. The goldsmith worked with all his heart and his ability. He wanted to crteate the most beatiful necklace in the worldbecause he loved his princess.
The birtday came. People gathered in the palace field. When prabu and queen appeared , people welcomed them happily. Prabu and his wife waved to their beloved people.
Cheers were louder and louder when the princees appeared with her fabulous pretty face. Everybody admired her beauty. prabu got up from his chair. A lady gave him a small and glamarous pillow. A wonderful necklace was on it. Prabu country. They love you so much. They presented it for you to express their happines, because you have been growing to a woman. Please, wear this necklace,” said prabu.
Princess accepted the necklace. She looked at the necklace in a glance.”Idon’t want to accept it! It’s ugly!” shouted the princess. Yhen she threw the necklace. The beautiful necklace was broken. The gold and jewels were spread out on the floor.
Everybody couldn’t say anything. They never thought that their beloved princess would did that cruel thing.nobody spoke. In their silence people heard the queen crying. Every womwn felt sad began crying too. Then everybody was crying.
Then there was a miracle. Earth was crying. Suddenly, from the under ground, a spring emerged. It made a pool of water . the palace was getting full. Soon the place became a big lake. The lake sank all of the kingdom.
Nowadays the water on the lake is not as full as before. There is only a small lake now. People called the lake “Tlaga Warna”. It means “lake of colour”. It’s located in puncak , west java. On a bright day, the lake is full of colour. So beautiful and amazing. The colours come from shadows of forest, plants, flowers, and sky around the lake. But some people said the the colours are from the pricess’s necklace, which lays at the bottom of the lake.

THE DEMOCRACY SYSTEM IN INDONESIA

Indonesia is a democracy country that guided by UUD 1945 and the five basic principles of the republik of indonesia. The democracy in indonesia followed bassed on guided nonpartiliamentary democracy. Actually the democracy principles is a goverment system that come of the people, by the people and for the people. The democracy of goverment system in indonesia was seen high in the world eye. Because of the system society rights and aspiration could be channel. And with the channeling of society aspirations by society deputies or by live,the goverment can to control many wisdoms that as long as was endured in the goverment administration. This situation showed that there are society being active for scrutinize kinds of problems and wisdomes that happened in this cauntry.

The democracy that was endured in the goverment distribution of president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono,included to democracy free system. Because he allowed many kinds of delivery society aspirations by democration or society deputies. But democracy that happened in the recently have regarded overstep,the demonstations that say froms of democracy,exactly be arena for degradition of this country goverment. The demonstrans who demonstration by nosy group bring animals and take as an example the animals as a precident,vice-precident,and also ministers. They also ceaseless to democratic with damaged country facilitieceses and burned pictures of precident,vice-precident,and the ministers.

The matter shouldn’t do by society in the informed of their aspirations. Because this matter have regarded againts the ethics in the real demonstration. The problems happend there is no good coopertion between society whit goverment. In this matter,the society more demand the goverment for fast work,but in fact everything of course need process and not easily turn plam of hand.

Of the society actions that deviated from democracy. Hopefully the goverment able to control back many kinds of wisdom,in the goverment administrationmin order society aspuirations can be matrialized.
