Several years ago, who would have thought that a CEO and Chairman of a private equity company, Scott Tucker, will do something other businessmen will dare not do and that is to join drive on the race tracks. After his successful debut in the Ferrari Challenge in 2006, he has been joining race car competitions non stop. What is surprising is that he ends up getting a rank for every race that he joins.

Scott Tucker is still new in these fast-paced and demanding sports. In fact, he is not known in the industry until a few years ago as he only became professional two years ago. He was able to join other highly competitive racing competitions such as the Porsche SuperCup, Rolex Series GT and IMSA Lites before he joined the GRAND-AM Daytona Prototype wherein he became a professional racer in 2008.

As soon as he entered the GRAND-AM, he was able to achieve a podium finish using his Riley BMW. After joining two seasons at GRAND-AM, Scott Tucker and his team decided to join the ALMS competition with the newest Le Mans Prototype Challenge Division. This new prototype comes with an intriguing design with its paddle-shift and carbon-fiber brakes which give the drivers a whole new racing experience which is something Tucker always wanted to try.

Just last year, Scott Tucker also pushed himself more as he joined the LMPC. However, before he joined, he made an initial test in Atlanta and Pail Ricard. His success behind the steering wheel is coach Christophe Bouchut who also influenced him to go full-time in the LMPC racing. Bouchut is a two-time FIA GT champion and a former winner of the Rolex 24 Series.

While under the duress of Bouchut, Tucker trained and listed to drive two entries which are cars numbers 55 and 95. He was one of the first to drive two cars in one series thanks to his high scoring points as a race car driver. With Tucker, everything is set and he only needs to focus until he reaches the finish line.

Scott Tucker is not afraid to cross boundaries and explore new options in the race track. It is his passion and attitude to always try new things that made him one of the richest person both in the race track and in the private equity industry. Thus, with the example that he is setting, there will be a lot of young people who will be following his footsteps for sure.
